    Name of your website?

    Antelespec Home Inspections

    Your name?

    Tim Spargo

    Your Location (city, etc)

    Lancaster, CA

Please give us a short summary of your website?

I tried to make an informative and simple website talking about Home Inspections and related information

What inspired you to launch your own website?

Most people seem to find me on the internet, although it's not the same as meeting someone... I hope my website is a good way to introduce myself. After all, dealing with your home inspector is kind of a one on one thing.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

This one. I launched it (if you could call it that) around the middle of 2006.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

I performed home inspections in the antelope valley. The name Antelespec was really a combination of Antelope Valley and inspections. Not very good SEO, but made sense at the time.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

I try to keep it personal feeling, and despite common sense, I do it myself!

What makes me different than the next guy?

I try to remember that I am the only one at the home or business who isn't nervous.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

Well, sometimes there isn't enough time in the day.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

Not sure at the moment.. I would think my biggest challenge would be training people. That would be expensive.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Probably not, if that happened, I would still be in the field and someone else would take over.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Every one you could think of, really.

What has been your biggest challenge?

There is a lack of information about my industry and a lack of standardization of this field. You really have to talk to the person you are going to be dealing with to get an idea of WHO is protecting you.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

I'm not sure, I'm still learning.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

I do everything at least 2 times before I realize how wrong it was.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

    3 years... til I'm done.

What would you like people to know about you?

I'm a family oriented guy and I try to remember that at the moment I'm at an inspection, the customers needs outweigh mine.

    What is your website address?
