Having a valid real estate license in New Mexico is a must if one wants to list or sell homes or commercial properties. Getting a real estate license is not easy but is manageable.
An applicant must be at least 18 years old and a U.S. resident. He has to take 90 hours of course work before being issued a license. Depending on the results, he can either have an associate broker's license or a qualifying broker's license.
