By thing of the objective of having a website: Online presence of the company so CompanyOnline, i.e. AmbianceCoOnline.com
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
Our Philosophy, the portfolio of listings and the details that we add to them
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To gain virtual recognition and bank on it's success by constantly evolving it.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Its more an investment of effort and time at the moment, however return are 10 folds per listing as the online presentation of properties creates a good impression to our clients and that what gives us the benefit over others
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
The budget would be more allocated towards online and offline promotion of the website. Obviously sufficient work would be done on evolving the website to meet the heightened standards and expectations.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Then I'm afraid we too will have to grow really big to keep up with the demand :)
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
None so far!
What has been your biggest challenge?
Putting heart and mind into the site, and its never enough
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Whatever makes someone visit it is a success factor, we have been experimenting every thing and we know there are many more options left to try.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
Not much, didn't have much expectations to begin with, its just doing the job
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
About 6 months, we are happy with what we have and unless we close down; which hopefully won't happen, we plan to depend on it as long as we foresee ourselves in this business
