    Name of your website?

    Toronto's West Village Real Estate

    Your name?

    Terry Jun

    Your Location (city, etc)

    Toronto, Ontario

Please give us a short summary of your website?

This is an informative site on real estate in Toronto's West Village. My services include, buying and selling real estate, important news and updates within real estate in Toronto, as well as featured properties for sale.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I wanted to provide consumers with an information packed site they could refer to when questioning areas in real estate in Toronto. The site also contains a blog which provides insight into the world of real estate from an expert's perspective.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

    In 2008.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

I have more than one website. The sites names are:

    http://www.terryjun.com http://www.mytorontorealtors.com

Something that was easy to remember and straighforward.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

The navigation is user friendly, the design is clean and uncluttered and the information provided isn't overwhelming, but direct and to the point.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To reach a wider consumer base.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

In the beginning it was a challenge, but now it's balanced.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

Other than adding more graphics, I don't think you need to overspend in order to develop an effective website. I built the site myself and I feel that it looks great!

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

My current site is prepared to scale along with demand as it grows.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

There is a learning curve when implementing newer technology, but I'm tech savvy, so it hasn't been overly difficult.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Developing a site can be incredibly time intensive and a lot of patience is required.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

    Word of mouth.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

It hasn't differed much at all. Just being able to stay up to date and contribute to my blog regularly.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

The site will continue on until I'm retired :)

    What is your website address?
