    Name of your website?

    SJBeachHomes.com

    Your name?

    Kevin OBrien

    Your Location (city, etc)

    Avalon, New Jersey

Please give us a short summary of your website?

The website is a guide to beach homes and condos in Cape May and Atlantic Counties. It provides the easiest way to search for homes from Cape May to Atlantic City.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I saw a need in the Jersey shore real estate for a easy to use and easy to navigate real estate site. I had some experience creating websites, and thought I could bring a superior product to market.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

My 1st website was launched a year ago. It was an ad driven website based on North Carolina's Outer Banks. The best thing about the site is it was created entirely using Open Source.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

This is really sad. It was the first domain name that came into my head. So SJBeachHomes.com it is.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

The map search above all, makes it stand out from the competition.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

Eventually I would like it to be considered the first step in a real estate empire.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

Hopefully this is the start of long term success.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would have 10 of these sites running right now.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Absolutely! I work with some of the best people in the world. They can handle it.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Costs have stayed pretty much in line. Can't say I had more headaches than expected.

What has been your biggest challenge?

The biggest challenge was trying to design and write each individual page.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

That is definitely yet to be seen.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

Its only days old, so not really had a chance to experience any problems.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

    The site is brand new.

How successful do you want to become?

    The sky is the limit!

    What is your website address?
