    Name of your website?

    Chantilly House

    Your name?

    Bill Ward

    Your Location (city, etc)

    Chantilly , Picardie.

Please give us a short summary of your website?

This is a website giving details of our house which is for sale. It shows the exceptional size of the house and provides photos of its various features together with a description of the house and grounds.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

It is much clearer and simpler to direct potential purchasers to a comprehensive web site than to reply each time to a lot of similar questions. Conversations become more informed from the start.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

We launched our very first website in 2007. The site is for people wishing to rent apartments in Paris. It is http://huttonsparisapartments.co.uk

How did you decide on a name for your website?

    It's our company name.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

It is simple and concise with clear untouched photos showing clients exactly what they are getting.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

It supports our business which may be sold in the future as a going concern

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

Still on the positive side of the balance sheet.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

    Take on staff.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

    Yes.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

    Nothing unexpected.

What has been your biggest challenge?

    Marketing the site.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Site linking and association with other sites.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

    It has not.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

Nearly two years and no reason not to keep going.

    What is your website address?

    Chantilly House
